CBS news
Kentucky/South Carolina shoot with Scott Shoupe
I am excited to put forward this proposal for the CBS News piece following Scott Shoupe and associated individuals from Eastern Kentucky to Florence, SC. Given the situation around COVID-19, crew will adhere to mask, distancing and testing protocol as mandated by CBS.
The project as discussed includes 4 production days plus 1 travel day, for a total of 5 days. A 2-person crew, led by Johan Taljaard as DP will handle all aspects of production and be in communication with Katherine Niemczyk and Jeremy Bradley throughout the process. Following production, a hard drive with all footage, audio and camera/production notes will be sent to CBS.
Below follows the costs associated for this project.

I realize that this proposal is higher than the original. Given the traveling nature of this project along with the potential derailment involving COVID-19, options that are usually available to us are complicated or eliminated. However, I am open to ideas to lower production costs in order to make it happen.
